Cradle Board Art Show

Main Street Gallery in Brighton is featuring a Call for Art open show using 6 X 6 cradleboards only

The fee is $30 to enter the show, which includes one board or $40 for two boards. (Cradleboards will be provided).

The show runs May 1 - 30. The reception will be held May 8th. This is very popular and fun show.
And because it is an "open" show, you do not have to be a Paletteers juried member. Kathy Hansen will be
bringing the boards and sawtooth hangers (to be used for this show ONLY, to accommodate our hanging grids), to
our Paletteers meeting on March 9th. Or you may also come visit the Gallery in Brighton, Tuesday through Saturday,
11-3 to make your purchase (the Gallery accepts cash, check, credit card).

Hi there Colorado Artists!

The City of Brighton Eye for Art Spring Showcase is open for submissions.

The submission deadline for this open-theme show is April 13 and we accept a wide variety of mediums, including acrylic, oil, mixed media, photography, watercolor, pastel, graphite, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, and digital art. More information and the submission form can be found on our website, and we're so excited to see your submissions!

The show lasts from May 18 to August 12, and the reception will take place on Friday, May 22 at Brighton City Hall.

Accepting entries through May 16, for the juried exhibit of original, mixed media fine art (no computer art or photography) by Colorado artists.

Entry fee is $25.00 for up to 2 entries. Max image size is 200 square inches.

Basic Water color techniques with Linden Kirby
April 15, 1-3 pm

Linden Kirby is offering a BASIC WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUES workshop on Thursday, April 16 from 1 to 3 pm.
It will be held at Good News Church, 5511 W.136th Ave, Broomfield. The cost is $35. This is open to all
and especially designed for those who want to learn the basics of watercolor. Each person will receive an annotated
Supply List upon registration and a detailed outline. Every artist will go home with at least 21 techniques they
have created and annotated themselves so they can review their own work and remind themselves of how they
created each one. The supply list is minimal so if you're just experimenting with watercolor, you don't need to invest
