Math Watercolors was created in 2024. I have been a watercolor artist for almost 25
years. I have painted scenery pictures for my whole painting career. Until recently, I
never put my art out for sale or even looked at creating a business to showcase my art.
Until late 2023, my mother-in-law, who is 95 years old and an oil painter, told me she
would not look or talk to me about art until I joined the Paletteers Art Club and got Juried
into the art club. I applied to the Palettes Art Club in July and was Juried in August
2024. Since then, I have entered several Art Shows and have won ribbons and awards
for my Watercolor and Pen paintings. I am delighted to be a part of a fantastic group of
artists, and I hope to gain significant knowledge on how the art world works and the
different tricks of painting in watercolors. Also, my mother-in-law has taken an active
role in being my go-to person to help me decide on what color to mat my paintings
before I frame them. She still is very attentive to colors and how they work together. My
success in my artwork is to my wife, Christy, and her mother, Virginia.
My paintings are done in Watercolor and detailed with ink pen for details.
